Temple Hollowing

Temple Hollowing is the loss of volume in the temple area, part of the natural ageing process of the face. Primarily it is the result of loss of fat however loss of bone, soft tissue, and muscle also contribute.

Losing volume in the temples leads to:

– Lowering of the eyelid and eyebrow

– Loose skin in the area surrounding the eyes and cheeks

– Changes to the overall shape of the face

Filling the temples with dermal filler can help all of these issues. We don’t recommend this as a starting treatment for those new to fillers however for those who have experience with dermal fillers the results can be fantastic.

Generally 1 to 2mLs of dermal filler are required with results lasting up to 2 years.
