Neck and Décolletage

About Decolletage

While tend to focus on our face when we think of anti-ageing treatments, surprisingly this is actually not the first area of the body to show the signs of ageing. The skin on the neck and décolletage area is thin and fragile with limited elasticity and as a result is far more susceptible to the effects of sun damage and ageing.

Thankfully there are several treatments we provide at Vice that can assist with rejuvenating and protecting your neck and décolletage.

Omnilux Revive Light Therapy

What is Omnilux™ Revive Light Therapy?

Omnilux Revive Light Therapy is a natural and non-invasive LED light therapy that uses a specific wavelength of pure red light. This red light penetrates deep into our skin naturally stimulating the skin cells, promoting collagen formation and increasing hydration.

Omnilux Revive Light Therapy creates a firmer, plumper and more hydrated complexion without any pain, side effects or downtime. Omnilux is also proven to accelerate wound and scar healing and unlike IPL or Fraxel laser treatments, Omnilux causes no residual skin damage.

Amazing results are achieved when Omnilux is used in conjunction with other skin rejuvenation treatments such and Dermapen and peels.

Peels

As we age our skin cell turnover rate begins to slow down resulting in a buildup of the outer damaged skin layers and a subsequent dull looking appearance to the skin. In addition fine lines, uneven skin tone and pigmentation all contribute to our neck and décolletage skin looking older than we would like.

Peels are non-invasive treatments that can greatly improve the appearance of the skin of the neck and décolletage by eliminating these outer skin layers revealing glowing, luminous skin and preventing further damage by enhancing the overall health of the skin.

Peels can be applied at fortnightly or monthly intervals for maximum results.

Dermapen

DermaPen is the latest technology in medical grade skin needling treatments. It is safer and more effective in piercing the skin than traditional skin needling rollers, because of its unique vertical needling technology.

DermaPen treatments can produce long-lasting rejuvenating effects for the neck and décolletage area by stimulating collagen and elastin with minimal downtime and discomfort.

Laser

Redness of the décolletage, chest and neck redness (Poikiloderma of Civatte)

Poikiloderma of Civatte was first described in 1923 by a French dermatologist and is caused by a combination of skin thinning, broken capillaries and pigmentation.

Poikiloderma of Civatte is the result of chronic sun damage and affects both men and women with excessive sun exposure. It is often found on the cheeks, the sides of the neck and the chest and/or décolletage.

Most patients require 2 to 3 treatments with the Candela Vbeam Perfecta® and have a greater than 75% improvement in the appearance of their condition.

Décolleté Pads

Chest lines in the décolletage can form as a result of lying on the side when sleeping, sun damage, ageing & gravity.

Décolleté pads were developed after the healing properties of silicone on scar tissue were observed. They prevent chest muscles and skin from forming wrinkly chest skin while sleeping, as well as smoothing existing wrinkles while awake. Décolleté pads can produce a dramatic noticeable improvement to your décolletage after just one to two nights of use.

Simply place the pads in the décolletage at night, and then wake up in the morning to a wrinkle-free appearance!

The Décolleté Pad is made of 100% medical grade silicone and is typically placed on the chest at night and removed in the morning however it can be used at any time of the day. Décolleté Pads are a non-invasive means of repairing chest lines & does not contain latex, urethanes or adhesives. They last between 30-60 days depending on the frequency of use.
